Homemade lard with onion

 
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 - 2 kg of lard
  • 2 onions
  • salt
  • pepper

Slice the lard into small cubes - put it into a saucepan. Season with salt and pepper. (i add a teaspoon of salt and a teaspoon of pepper)
 
Melt on low heat.
 
When the fat is almost melted, add the diced onions and blush them.
 
Pour warm lard into jars.
 
Store in a refrigerator.
