Cream of beetroot with cheddar

  • 40g of onion
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 10-15 g of butter
  • 130g of red beets
  • 80g of carrots
  • 1 potato
  • 900g water
  • cube of beef broth
  • 1.5 teaspoons of universal spice
  • 2 teaspoons of pepper
  • 1 teaspoon pf Worcester sauce
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 2 tablespoons of heavy cream
Chop the onion and garlic - sauté 3 minutes. in butter.
Add the chopped carrots, potatoes and beets.
Cover with water, add spices - cook 25min. at temp. 90C.
Pull out the bay leaf, add the cream, mix and boil.

Serve with boiled eggs and grated cheddar.
