Software/Database developer – MS ACCESS, MS SQL – English OR Polish speakers

Desired skills:

Demonstrated knowledge of the following programming technologies:
- MS ACCESS (VBA, DAO, ADO) --- MUST HAVE
  - Experience with programming in ACCESS as a front end for MS SQL
  - Excellent knowledge of Visual Basic for Applications
  - In depth understanding of DAO and ADO connection methods
- MS SQL (T-SQL, SSMS, SSRS)
  - Proficiency in advanced SQL queries.
  - Excellent knowledge of Programming Stored Procedures
  - Experience with Administration of MS SQL server (backups, data migration)
Degree in Computer Science required
Commercial project implementations using above technologies
Good knowledge of database administration (SSMS, MS Access)
Experience with data migration between different databases
Excellent Report writing and Data analysis skills (SSRS, MS Access)
Good technical understanding of Computer Hardware, Software, mobile technologies
Experience with EPOS & ERP systems (Comarch ERP or similar) would be an advantage
Good understanding of Retail/Warehouse business model
Strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to learn quickly to adapt to ever changing challenges in dynamic environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Fluency in English or Polish
4+ Year experience in Applications and Database development

Responsibilities:

Develop existing MS ACCESS application
Develop and maintain integration between existing and new systems
Optimize new and existing code to improve performance
Gain full knowledge of how our systems work and how our business operates
Provide support and training on various applications used within the organization
Resolve related technical issues
Respond to requests and queries promptly and clearly with a resolution
When necessary, escalate issues within the company or with external support providers to resolve issues
Updating and maintenance of system documentation
Troubleshoot application bugs and identify issues for development. Monitoring of development, testing and implementation
Responsible for ad-hoc data analysis.
