Fish in Greek

 
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 kg of sea fish fillets
  • flour
  • oil
  • 3 large onions
  • 5-6 carrots
  • 2 parsley
  • a piece of selery
  • little jar of tomato concentrate
  • 3 bay leaves
  • 6 grains of allspice
  • 3 tablespoons vinegar
  • salt
  • pepper

Sprinkle fish with salt, pepper and flour - fry in oil.
 
Chop the onion into small cubes - cook 5 minutes in water with vinegar, strain.
 
Grate vegetables on a grater with thick mesh.
 
Heat a little oil in a frying pan, add vegetables, leaves, allspice - fry briefly, then baste with water.
 
Simmer until the vegetables are soft.
 
Add concentrate and onion - mix, season with salt and pepper.
 
Lay a thin layer of vegetables on a platter, then lay fried fish and cover it with the remaining vegetables.
 
Let stand in the refrigerator to cool.
 
Serve cold.
