We have been trading on the Island of Ireland since 2003 by opening our first shop in Naas with Polish products under the name Polonez. It was one of the first shops in Ireland providing Polish people with Polish food. Since then, we grew up to 37 stores across Ireland and UK promoting food from Central and Eastern European countries. We have been developing product range to meet the ongoing tastes of our diverse population and encouraging our customers to discover the taste of the different food cultures.

As our business grows, so do the opportunities for our people. You'll be involved in in the running of a store or a department in line with company objectives and ensuring company standards. To supervise the shop floor and coordinate employee’s activity.
 

Some of the responsibilities include:

  • Maintain highest possible standards of Exceptional Customer Service throughout the store.
  • Manage all customer complaints in line with company policy.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with suppliers, customers, and external bodies.
  • Ensure that stock is processed on time and that warehouse is functioning well.
  • Making sure that stock is put out onto the floor in a timely manner.
  • Deliver exemplary standards in store presentation, as well as maximising layout and merchandising techniques to provide excellent availability and well-merchandised shelves/stock to ensure that customers are satisfied with their shopping experience.
  • To ensure good housekeeping is maintained throughout all areas in the store and to communicate with the management team in case and incident happens.
  • To be aware of the risks employees and customers are exposed to and to be aware of safe work practices and Company procedures to overcome them.

  • Assist Store Manager with day-to-day store operations.
  • Experience in sales is preferred.
  • Speaking one of the Eastern European languages (Polish, Ukrainian, Romanian, Lithuanian, Croatian, etc.) will be considered an advantage.
     

You must be fully flexible and available to work from Monday till Sunday including bank holidays.
